POSITION TITLE : MINI BAR SUPERVISOR
DEPARTMENT : FOOD AND BEVERAGE
PURPOSE :
Under
the general guidance and supervision of the Executive Housekeeper or
delegate and within the limits of established corporate and local Hotel
Policies and Procedures, oversees and directs all aspects of the mini
Bars operation.
RELATIONSHIP :
1.Reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper or delegate.
2.Interacts supervision of mini Bar personnel.
3.Interacts with guests and other departments as appropriate.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
1.Responsible for the daily allocation of work and monthly schedules for assigned personnel.
2.Ensures
assigned employees have necessary equipment and supplies to carry out
their duties to standard as well as per procedures and rules.
3.Ensures
that all mini Bars in guest rooms, occupied and none occupied, are
checked for consumption, charged and refilled daily.
4.Ensures all mini Bars are defrosted, clean and in good state of repair at all times.
5.Monitors
assigned personnel to ensures check out rooms due out rooms are
promptly checked in order to change the appropriate guest bills and
minimize late charges.
6.Ensures mini Bar stores inventory is replenished daily and accurately to maintain par-inventory.
7.Prepares daily and monthly mini Bar Summary.
8.Prepares daily late-charges report.
9.Ensures mini Bar Stores, equipment and cupboards are clean, organized and well maintained at all times.
10.Ensures
all guest complaints are handled promptly, efficiently and refereed to
Executive Housekeeping or delegate as soon as possible.
11.Assists in identifying training needs and implementing training sessions.
12.Maintains appropriate standards of conduct, dress hygiene, uniform and appearance of assigned personnel.
13.Established and maintains effective employee relations.
14.Reports all unusual activities in assigned areas.
15.Complies with Security and Emergency Procedures, Health and Safety Policies for guests and employees.
16.Attends and participates in departmental meetings and training session as required.
17.Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
